Winter Awards Banquet – Monday, 3/18

The Winter Awards Banquet will take place on Monday, March 18, beginning at 6:30pm in the auditorium. Individual team awards will take place immediately after in assigned rooms. See your coaches or Mr Kelber with any questions. We hope to see you there!

Frye finishes 3rd in the state, Superintendent Evans honored.

Nolan Frye won five consecutive matches at the OHSAA State Tournament to finish in 3rd place overall in the 106lb weight class. Check out the article on Nolan’s impressive state tournament run. Nolan Frye & Luke Hopkins headed to States!

Congratulations to freshman, Nolan Frye (106lb) who took second place at districts and has qualified for the OHSAA State Tournament next week in Columbus.  Nolan will enter the tournament with a record of 43-7.  Luke Hopkins has now been added as a #3 seed and will also compete. Congratulations Varsity Wrestling

Congratulations to the Varsity Wrestling Team on finishing 2nd place overall and 1st place in the Valley Division this Saturday at the CVC Wrestling Tournament. Also, Congratulations to Coach Dave Meade, who won CVC Coach of the Year! Top Finishers: 1st place – Frye and Hopkins 2nd place – Connors, Alpert and Torgerson 3rd place

PIN Cancer! Wrestling for the Cure a big success!

Thank you for all those who came out to support our PIN CANCER, Wrestling for a Cure. The Varsity Wrestling squared off in a Double Dual vs Akron Kenmore, Garfield Heights and Rittman High School.  Matches will begin at 6pm and admission is $5.
