With runners on first and third and two outs in the bottom of the seventh, Cuyahoga Heights was clinging to a 3-1 lead. The Beachwood cleanup hitter sliced a fly ball down the right field line out of the reach of right fielder Chris Jaenke. On the play Jaenke stumbled allowing the Bison runner from first to try and score. Jaenke scampered to his feet, got the throw into first baseman Reilly Tyna who fired a seed to catcher Eoin Honsacker to nail the runner at home plate for the final out.
Jonathon Nejman continues be a force on the mound for Heights. Nejman earned the complete game win, striking out 4. He also collected 2 of the 6 Heights hits on the afternoon. Reilly Tyna came through with a deep double to the fence in right to give Cuyahoga Heights the lead in the fifth.
