The Girls from Heights captured their 10th sectional championship crown in the last 11years yesterday beating the visiting Columbia Raiders 44-22. Rock solid defense combined with sharing the basketball and hot shooting was the recipe for a victory. Sophomore Tess Conroy provided the hot shooting as she was 6 for 11 from the 3point arc in route to her game high 20 points. She had help as Freshman Julia Jaenke had 7 points along with 5 assists. Senior Julia Harris once again provided lock down defense while adding in 6 points and 4 assists. Junior Mia Spicer grabbed 7 rebounds along with 5 points. CHHS travels to Cornerstone Christian Academy on Wednesday night to do battle in the district semifinal round.
