The Girls Basketball Team raised their record to 2-0 in CVC play as they beat the Hurricanes from Brooklyn 42-17 on Saturday. After a slow start in the first quarter, CHHS out scored Brooklyn 24-5 over the 2nd and 3rd quarters. Sophomore Tess Conroy led all scorers with 15 points. Senior Julia Harris added in 8. Senior Sydney Dyer grabbed 6 rebounds to help her team in the victory. The girls are back on the floor vs. rival Independence this Wednesday at home. JVs start at 5:30.
